Begin exploring what it's like to come back to your body in a compassionate environment and rekindle your mind-body connection! These classes guide you through moments of mindfulness, intentional movement, and breath work to promote empowered self-awareness. Each class offers an affirmation and focuses on a particular region of the body (ex. "I am open to receive...", focusing on the heart chakra and chest opening sequences).
Trauma Informed Yoga is fundamentally invitational, meaning that you can choose what offerings you’d like to incorporate into your practice as you move through the class. In other words, you don’t have to do what the instructor is doing! Feel free to follow along or follow your own inspiration✨

WHAT TO EXPECT
As the pace of summer picks up, our bodies and minds often carry more heat than we realize—not just from the weather, but from constant doing, planning, and responding. Join Liz for a yoga practice inspired by the cooling qualities of the breath. This class offers space to release tension, soften, and take a break from the summer heat!
Together, we'll explore restorative movements and the Sheetali Pranayama (cooling breath) to bring us to the present moment and practice an intentional shift from urgency into ease.
Come as you are and leave feeling a little lighter, cooler, and more connected.
